The requirements for membership in the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks are simple: you must be an American citizen at least 21 years of age, believe in God and be willing to honor the American Flag. Membership is gained by being asked by another member of the Order. There are reasonable annual dues that vary by Lodge.
The members raise funds for charitable works including scholarships, Veteran's services, children and the community.
